On Tuesday 21st May, Bognor Regis MRC held its 2024 AGM. All officers on the club's committee gave reports, and these are available to members on request.

Northern Lights come south

Happy new year to all!
Crookham Vale was finished a week before our show, which was a great achievement for our beginners section of the club as they were tasked with making a OO9 layout before our show.
On the 13th-14th of January we held our annual exhibition was a great success! With nearly 2,000 attendees over the whole weekend it was our best year ever… Crookham Vale got awarded with the Mayor’s award for his “Best in Show”!
On the 21st of January some of our members went to Astolat in Guildford with a member’s layout, Stedham Mill, and walked away with the “Best in Show” again!
On the 27th and 28th of January the 3mm layout Portsea owned by 2 members to Southampton Model Railway Society’s Annual Exhibition.

Hornby: A Model World Series 2

Members of the Bognor Regis Model Railway Club have been involved in the latest series of Hornby: A Model World, currently being aired on the Yesterday channel at 8pm on Mondays during January, February and March.

Viewers can see the work of some of our members, of all ages, and their activities in episodes 7 and 11. Episode 7 should be aired on Monday 27th February and episode 11 during March, however the latter is available now on UKTV Play.
